  • Think along the lines of descriptive tag lines. 6-10 words is the ideal number words. Imagine you have just a few minutes to enthusiastically but realistically describe what it is you do.
  • When consumers/clients/customers view a logo or brand identity; what should be the ideal feeling or emotion you would like them to feel?
  • This helps us to understand what appeals to your customers.
  • Its important that we understand what your customers like.
  • How do you reach out to your customer base - online, magazines, flyers, billboards....
  • Does this logo need to compete with existing and similar businesses or is it in a relatively uncrowded market place
  • This includes: local, regional and/or worldwide. We absolutely need to know how a clients competitors brand and position themselves before we can work on building a visual identity.
  • What do you see a logo as and do you require imagery?
  • It may affect the level of detail we can incorporate. Does the logo need to be printed on the side of a pen and/or on the side of a building.
  • Have seen any logos that you really like?
  • Do you use any specific colours within your business at the moment? Is there any colours you particularly don't like?
  • Does your business or product follow a certain visual style or you may just have some specific visual needs that need to be considered or even avoided if existing logo and identities fall into the cliché trap.
